Spinal Decompression Therapy

Spinal Decompression Therapy

How do I know if I’m a good candidate for this non-surgical procedure?

There’s only one sure way to know if you can resolve your disc-related back pain and regain your physical freedom through non-surgical spinal decompression. You must make it your priority to receive a thorough consultation, evaluation, and any necessary diagnostics. If after reading this material, you still believe you might qualify for this procedure, then we will provide you just about everything except the MRI that you will need to determine whether you are a good candidate for non-surgical spinal decompression.

What is Spinal Decompression Therapy?

decompic3Decompression therapy is a modern, high tech, non-surgical traction procedure that effectively treats disabling low back, neck, and radiating leg and arm pain. This type of traction is very successful in relieving pain associated with disc herniation, degenerative discs, and posterior facet syndromes, due to decompression of spinal discs and facet joints by utilizing traction, distraction and positioning. This therapy effectively enhances the healing process and renders quick, effective and amazing pain relief that enables most patients to return to a more active lifestyle.

Why should I consider Spinal Decompression Therapy?

Not everyone who suffers back pain is a good candidate for non-surgical spinal decompression. However, for those who do qualify for this breakthrough technology, there has never been anything as effective for resolving the CAUSE of their pain.

If your neck or back pain radiates into your shoulder, arm, hip or leg… or if you have numbness, tingling, pins & needles, dull aches or sciatica, you may only have two viable options left – surgical or non-surgical spinal decompression.

And with the dismal success statistics associated with surgeries (not to mention the high percentage of those who end up worse after such invasive procedures), you certainly want to know whether you are a good candidate for this safe, effective, non-invasive, disc-repair technology.

Those who are well suited for non-surgical spinal decompression are those who will have the opportunity to resolve their disc-related back pain and gain back the physical freedom that their disc condition has taken away… and the procedure does this with a much greater success rate than surgery and without the risk of you getting worse.

Non-surgical spinal decompression therapy as performed in our office is a very high-tech form of traction. It is a highly successful, non-surgical alternative procedure for relieving low back, neck, and arm and leg pain.

How To End Back Pain

  • Eighty-six percent of patient with ruptured intervertebral disc (RID) with sciatica and back pain achieved ‘good’ (50-89% improvement) to ‘excellent’ (90-100% improvement) results with decompression. Sciatica and back pain were relieved.
  • Of the facet arthrosis patients, 75% obtained ‘good’ to ‘excellent’ results with decompression.
  • Results showed that 86% of the 219 patients who completed the therapy reported immediate resolution of symptoms, while 84% remained pain-free 90 days post-treatment. Physical examination findings showed improvement in 92% of the 219 patients, and remained intact in 89% of these patients 90 days after treatment.
  • All but two of the patients in the study improved at least 30% or more in the first three weeks.
  • Utilizing the outcome measures, this form of decompression reduces symptoms and improves activities of daily living.
